This will change the appearance to show up a banner (in this case 900x200px) at the very beginning of your page. It changes the top links div layer and removes the avatarname heading. This code can be placed anywhere but should be modified before usage.

» if it doesnt work but worked before then probably the background url is not accessable anymore. this can happen when the picture does not exist anymore. The "display:block" line has absolutely nothing to do with visibility or invisibility. It is a technique to make the picture appear in a box. The opposite would be display:inline - but i dont think this helps here. «

» The easiest way is to use the customize mode (link at the end of the code (besides this comments-link)). There you just have to put the pictures link into the right spot. if it does not fit on the page at the end adjust the height and width values inside the code. «
